Our laboratory focuses on Friction Stir Welding, Thermoelectric Materials, Ultrasonic Bonding and Laser Welding, we are also committed to develop the functional Thin Films such as electrochromic devices, ZnO nanowire array electrode, silicon nanowire gas sensor and thermoelectric components and other research topics.

The laboratory actively cultivates students' practical ability in personnel cultivation, we will hold the short-term practice to help student strengthen in rerearch and devalopment, so that students who graduate from the university can successfully enter the general workplace.
At present, most students are service in industry company, such as Formosa Plastics, AUO, Innolux, Hotai, CTCI, ITRI, NCSIST ... and so on, Hope that the graduates can have more development space.
